About: Hello, my name is Heather Krautner, thank you for your interest in Krautner Photography and Design and welcome to my website. We are a home operating and on location studio located in Roseville, Michigan. I love all aspects of photography, but my passion is Wedding photography. I love capturing all the special moments that day has to offer someone. I have always enjoyed photography and art. I got my first camera at the young age of 5. Both of my Grandfathers were artisitic and love to photograph, paint and draw. They always inspired me to want to learn more. In highschool I was the yearbook photographer and was heavily into fine art and graphic design. I won award and scholarships for my work. After highschool, in 2000, I went to Wayne State University and started to pursue my degree in Art Education. After a year in the program, I decided that wasn't what I wanted and transfered to Macomb Community College where I entered into the Media and Communications Program. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 with a degree in Photography & Digital Imaging and Graphic Design. In 2005, I opened Krautner Photography and Design with my husband (then fiance'.) I had friends and family requesting I photograph there weddings. From there, I was able to establish my studio.
